Please call the surgery to make an appointment.  Staff are available from 7.30 am to make an appointment for you. Please call Ph: (02)49333093.  Emergencies will always be given priority. No, we do not require a referral for minor procedures. Bookings are required.

  • Skin cancer & cosmetic excisions
  • Vasectomy

  • Mirena & Implanon insertion and removal

We are a mixed billing practice. We bulk bill aged pensioners over 65 who have a healthcare card or pension card from Centrelink, DVA card holders and children from 0 to 5 years are bulk billed.

Standard consultation: $75 (up to 15 minutes)
Concession card holders $60

Long consultation: $115
Concession card holders $100

*Two members of one family on the same day: one will be charged a lesser fee of $60
*This does not apply to skin checks & excisions​
*Children from 0-5 years old: bulk billed
*Patients from 5 to 64 who have a pension or health care card from Centrelink will be charged $60

After hours care is provided by GP Access After Hours by calling 1300 130 147.  If you require emergency care due to a life threatening illness or injury please contact 000 or attend your nearest emergency department.

The Hunter Valley Skin Cancer Clinic is our other practice focussed on skin cancer checkups and excisions. Services offered include:

  • Skin checks
  • Skin cancer excisions
  • Skin cancer non-surgical treatment
  • Dermatology appointments
  • Cosmetic procedures

When a patient attends the surgery without an appointment they will be allocated the first available appointment and will usually be required to wait or return at a later time later in the day.

The doctors attend the Living care Nursing Home at East Maitland and the Opal Nursing Home at Maitland.  Apart from palliative care and nursing home visit other home visits can be arranged but these are not bulk billed.
